Contact MasterMan
Have a doubt about MHT-CET, need help with CAP counselling, or want to suggest a resource? We’d love to hear from you. The fastest way to reach us is WhatsApp or our YouTube community.
Which channel to use
All four reach us, but they are not equally good for every purpose, and picking the right one will usually get you a faster and more useful answer.
- WhatsApp is best for short, specific questions — a percentile and a branch preference, a clarification on a CAP deadline, a question about one page on the site. It is the fastest channel during counselling season.
- Email is better for anything that needs detail: a full counselling query with your percentile, category, home district and preference list; a reported error with the page address; or feedback that runs longer than a few lines.
- YouTube comments during a live session are the right place for a question that other students are likely to share, since the answer then reaches everyone watching.
- Instagram is mostly for announcements and updates. It works for a quick reply, but messages there are the slowest for us to get to.
What to include when you write
Counselling questions are much easier to answer well when the message contains the facts we would otherwise have to ask for. If you are writing about admissions, please include your MHT-CET percentile (and JEE Main percentile if you have one), your category and whether you hold a valid caste validity and non-creamy-layer certificate, your home university region, whether you are a Maharashtra-domiciled candidate, the branches you are actually interested in, and whether you are willing to move away from home for a better institute.
That last question matters more than students expect and is the one most often left out. A shortlist for someone who will only study in Pune looks nothing like a shortlist for the same percentile from someone open to Nagpur or Aurangabad, and the second list is usually considerably stronger.
Response times, honestly
We are a small team and this is not a staffed helpdesk. Outside the admission season we normally reply within a day or two. During CAP rounds, when message volume goes up by an order of magnitude, it can take longer, and we prioritise questions where a deadline is about to pass.
If your question concerns a form deadline, an option-form submission or a freeze-or-float decision that closes within the next twenty-four hours, please say so in the first line of your message. We will get to it first.
One thing we cannot do, whatever the urgency: we have no influence over allotment, no contact inside any admission committee, and no ability to arrange or expedite a seat. Anyone who offers you that is selling something that does not exist. What we can do is help you read the data correctly and fill your option form in an order that reflects what you actually want.
Reporting an error
If something on the site is wrong, out of date or unclear, we would genuinely like to know. The most useful report includes the page address, the specific sentence, and what you believe the correct information to be — with a link to the official notification if you have one. We correct factual errors as a priority and describe how we handle it in our editorial and corrections policy.
