Privacy Policy
MasterMan (“we”, “us”) operates the website masterman.in. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using this website, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: if you contact us (e.g. via WhatsApp, email or a form) or use our counselling service, you may share your name, contact details, exam score, category and preferences. Names typed into our practice mock tests stay in your browser and are not sent to us.
- Automatically collected: like most websites, we and our service providers may collect standard log and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, device, and referring page) through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
- To provide and improve our free study material, tests and counselling.
- To understand how the site is used (analytics) so we can make it better.
- To respond to your queries and provide guidance you request.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work as intended.
Practice tests stored on your device
Test attempts, scores and review history from the MHT-CET, aptitude and DSA practice tools are saved in your browser’s local storage so you can see past attempts. This data stays on your device, is not sent to MasterMan, and is cleared when you clear your browser storage for this site.
Third-party advertising & analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use and may display advertising through Google AdSense on content pages. We do not place AdSense on the document viewer or the 404 page. Optional analytics and advertising storage are denied by default until you make a choice in the site’s cookie banner; you can also change or clear the choice through your browser storage controls. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads and traffic:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers (like analytics/advertising partners) as needed to run the site, or where required by law.
Children
Our content is aimed at students. We do not knowingly collect more personal information than necessary. If you believe a child has provided personal data and you want it removed, contact us.
Your choices
You can browse most of the site without giving personal information, control cookies via your browser, and request that we delete any personal data you shared with us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
