Use of the website
MasterMan provides free educational content, practice tests and guidance. You may use the material for your personal, non-commercial learning. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Educational content & accuracy
We work to keep information accurate and up to date, but content is provided “as is” for general educational purposes. Exam patterns, syllabi, cutoffs and admission rules change — always confirm important details with the official authorities before relying on them.
Intellectual property
Original content on MasterMan (text, design, question sets, code) belongs to MasterMan unless otherwise stated. Third-party syllabus PDFs and resources remain the property of their respective owners and are shared for students’ educational convenience. If you own content and want it removed, contact us.
Project kits — licence and acceptable use
When you buy an engineering project kit, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that source code for your own academic work and your own learning. Ownership of the code stays with MasterMan; you are licensed to use it, not sold the rights to it.
Under that licence you may run the project, modify it, extend it, rename it, put your own branding and data into it, and submit the result as your own academic work where your institution permits you to build on existing code. You are encouraged to do all of this — a kit you have understood and changed is worth far more to you than one you have not touched.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the code, publish it in a public repository, upload it to a project-selling site or group, or pass it to other students whether or not you charge them. One purchase covers one student.
Whether starting from existing code is acceptable for your submission is governed by your own institution’s academic rules, and checking them is your responsibility. We make no representation that any particular college, university or examiner will accept work built on a kit, and we accept no responsibility for academic consequences arising from how you choose to use it. We do not write project reports, do not appear at viva or presentation sessions, and do not misrepresent our involvement to any institution that asks.
Project kits are provided as working software on an “as is” basis. We will help you get a kit running on your machine, but we do not warrant that it is free of defects, that it will run in every environment, or that it will earn any particular mark or grade. Refunds for project kits are governed by the refund and cancellation policy, which draws the line at the moment the code is delivered.
Third-party links
The website links to external sites (e.g. official portals, YouTube, learning resources). We are not responsible for the content, policies or availability of those third-party sites.
Practice test limitations
Mock tests, chapter tests and previous-year papers on MasterMan are practice aids, not official examinations or predictions of your result. Scores are indicative only. Marking schemes, question patterns and syllabi are set by the examining authorities and can change, so confirm the current rules in the official information brochure before you rely on them. Automated scraping of the question banks and abusive use of the practice tools are prohibited.
Advertising
The website may display advertising from third-party networks. Ads are governed by the respective networks’ policies; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Limitation of liability
MasterMan is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including admission decisions. Use your own judgement and verify with official sources.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website means you accept the current terms.
